Why are you so passionate about posing?Â
I had a really bad experience in my first competition. No one taught me how to pose for my physique and I felt humiliated. I never want an athlete to feel the same as the way I felt on that day and my mission is to never let an athlete have a bad experience.Â
What do you love so much about the industry?
I love that it continues to evolve and change; putting athletes as priority and the true friendships that can be formed!
Favourite division and why? (Can be male & female)Â
Womenâs figure OR Menâs Bodybuilding (I couldnât choose!)Â
I love the shape of womenâs figure & the evolution of their posing but⌠I do love a Big Male Bodybuilder! Those muscles speak for themselves.Â
If you could tell a beginner anything, it would beâŚ
Follow the plan 100%. Cross every T and dot every i.Â
Because on stage, you need to ask yourself, âIf I lost this show, have I done everything in my power and tried my hardest?â If you have given it your all, you will be so satisfied that no matter your placing, you will be proud.
And that proudness will help with your stage presence on stage day!Â

Why are you so passionate about posing?Â
I'm incredibly passionate about teaching posing because it's more than just striking a pose â it's about helping people discover a powerful form of self-expression. When I teach posing, I see individuals transform from feeling awkward to radiating confidence. It's amazing to witness how subtle changes in posture can communicate different emotions and messages, plus I enjoy the education aspect as I see clients gain a deeper understanding about their physiques.ÂBy imparting this skill, I empower others to truly showcase their personality and inner beauty. Seeing my clients embrace their uniqueness and shine in front of the crowd and judges brings me immense fulfilment and satisfaction.
What do you love so much about the industry?
The fitness industry is truly amazing for so many reasons. First and foremost, it's all about health â helping us live better, stronger lives. It's a place where we can work on our physical well-being, improve our mental focus, and boost our self-confidence. What's even better is the sense of belonging you get â being part of a community that shares the same goals and supports each other every step of the way.ÂAnd let's not forget about the constant innovation. There's always something new happening â whether it's a cutting-edge workout, state-of-the-art equipment, or breakthroughs in nutrition science. This keeps things exciting and encourages us to keep pushing our limits.ÂFrom a career perspective, the fitness industry offers so much. If you're passionate about helping others become the best versions of themselves, there are endless opportunities to make a real impact as a fitness professional.ÂOverall, the fitness industry isn't just about exercise; it's about embracing a lifestyle that enriches our lives physically, mentally, and even professionally.ÂÂI am so lucky to be a part of this industry.
Favourite division and why? (Can be male & female)Â
In my opinion, when it comes to bodybuilding divisions, my favourites are definitely Men's Bodybuilding and Women's Figure. This is where it all started for me. Men's Classic, Men's Physique, Women's Bikini, Wellness and Physique did not yet exist when I first began following and competing in the sport.ÂWhat really drew me to these divisions was not only the physical aspect but also their rich history in the fitness world. Men's Bodybuilding showcases the pinnacle of muscular development and strength, while Women's Figure combines muscularity with a graceful and balanced physique.ÂÂThe history behind these divisions is fascinating â they've been at the forefront of the bodybuilding movement for decades, shaping the way we perceive strength, beauty, and dedication. There's something truly inspiring about seeing the evolution of these divisions and how they've influenced the fitness industry over time.ÂMy personal journey started in Figure in 2007 and evolved into the Women's Physique Division where I won my Pro Card in 2014. Â
If you could tell a beginner anything, it would beâŚ
The 3 main things I'd tell a beginner to the sport would be-Â1. Set Realistic Goals:As a first-time competitor, itâs crucial to set achievable goals. Remember that your initial competition is a stepping stone in your journey. Focus on improvements, both in terms of your physique and your overall experience. Setting realistic expectations will help you stay motivated and avoid unnecessary pressure.Â2. Practice Posing Early:Start practicing your posing routine early on. Posing isnât just about displaying your physique; itâs a skill that requires practice and refinement. By starting early, youâll have more time to perfect your poses, transitions, and stage presence. Posing well can significantly enhance your overall presentation on competition day.Â3. It's not always "FUN", but it should be meaningful:While preparation is important, donât forget to appreciate the process. Your first competition should be a positive and memorable experience. Embrace the journey, make new friends within the competition community, and celebrate the progress youâve made. The joy you find in the process will radiate on stage and contribute to a more fulfilling experience.ÂRemember, your first competition is an opportunity to learn, grow, and showcase your hard work. By setting attainable goals, practicing posing diligently, and maintaining a sense of enjoyment, youâll set yourself up for a rewarding and memorable experience.
Hi "Posers"! I am so glad to have joined Team TPS!
As a graduate of the Fashion Institute of Technologyâs prestigious Advertising & Marketing Communications program and a passion for the sport of bodybuilding, it was only right for me to combine the two⌠now taking my career one step further with The Posing School!
I'll be working behind-the-scenes to build our community within the course and help grow our Affiliate Program.
I can't wait to see where this journey goes and to build exciting, long-lasting partnerships each step of the way!
Why are you so passionate about posing?Â
While studying marketing in college, I began my journey as a competitive bodybuilder and know just as much as any competitor how important posing truly is! You can eat all of your meals and perform the necessary cardio and training sessions to the best of your ability, but if your posing lacks confidence, you will not be the best that you can be on show day!
What do you love so much about the industry?
Umm.. EVERYTHING?!? Itâs a very unique sport, and itâs not for everyone⌠but those who love and respect bodybuilding are a tight-knit community. It can be a lonely sport, but with programs like The Posing Schoolâs Community, it doesnât have to be!
Favourite division and why? (Can be male & female)Â
Definitely the Bikini division! Maybe Iâm biased because I was a bikini competitor myself, but I truly love the physique it showcases and admire a lot of the top IFBB Bikini Pros of the world.
If you could tell a beginner anything, it would beâŚ
Make sure that you are truly in a âgood placeâ; physically, mentally AND financially to do a bodybuilding show!
It is NOT easy and will take up a lot of your time and energy. Make sure that you are able to set aside this extra time to focus on your goals and that you communicate with the people closest to you about this new venture you are setting out to do. The financial aspect is huge as well because I promise, doing a show is NOT cheap! The suit, shoes, posing, tanning, hair/makeup, coaching, gym memberships, supplements, groceries⌠omg! Be ready!
